Exalt
We seek to glorify the Lord through a lifestyle of personal
obedience and communion with Him; and to have anointed
worship services which focus on God’s greatness and our
thanksgiving to Him.
Edify
Maranatha Fellowship is a Biblical community of believers,
serving and building up one another in Christ-like
relationships. Love, acceptance, and forgiveness are three
central themes we seek to practice in developing believers
to be genuine and mature followers of Christ.
Equip
At Maranatha Fellowship we believe that every believer is
called to serve the Lord and has unique and special gifts
which are to be developed and released in service to the
Body of Christ. Helping members to discover their spiritual
gifts and calling, and training them to be effective in
fulfilling the call of God on their lives is a goal we
strongly believe in.
Evangelize
Because we believe that eternity is forever and that after
judgment follows death, we are compelled by God to be His
witnesses to a lost world. Our goal is to have all of our
members equipped and mobilized as witnesses in their
“worlds,” i.e., to their families, friends, work places, and
neighborhoods. While friendship evangelism is the focus of
our personal evangelism thrust, we also believe the church
has a responsibility for world missions. Thus, we encourage
generous giving to world missions as well as going on short
term missions trips to serve in various mission fields.
We Believe....
• The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and
authoritative written Word of God.
• There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in
His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His future
return to this earth in power and glory to rule.
• The only means of being cleansed from sin is through
repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
• Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential
for personal salvation.
• In the infilling power of the Holy Spirit, by whose
indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
The present, supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit is to
glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Every believer should be
filled with the Holy Spirit.
• That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and
that all shall come to final judgment with its rewards and
punishments.
